We offer multiple borrow or buy options for you to take your favourite books home. We also offer exchanges for lightly used books.

Borrow from our secondhand and donated collection to return back to the store once you've finished reading. We may request payment if the book is returned heavily damaged.

Buy a secondhand or donated book for a discounted price based on the evaluated condition of the book. All donated books are evaluated and priced based on wear and tear and overall condition.

Buy from our collection of new books, fresh from print so you can have your own new copy no one else has owned.

Borrowing

When borrowing books, we request that the condition of the book remains good throughout the borrowing period. This includes avoiding excessive wear and tear, such as torn pages, water damage, or markings that hinder the reading experience.

In the event that a borrowed book is returned in a condition that does not meet our standards of "good," a small fee may be charged to cover the costs of repairing or replacing the book. We understand that normal wear can occur, but we kindly ask our borrowers to treat our books with care to ensure they remain enjoyable for all readers.

Returns and refunds

When it comes to returns and refunds, we strive to maintain a fair and transparent policy for our customers. For new books purchased from our store, we offer a refund within the first month of purchase if the book is in its original condition. This allows customers to make informed decisions and ensures satisfaction with their purchase.

However, to prevent misuse of our refund policy, we do not accept refunds for books after the initial month or if there is visible damage to the book. This policy is in place to discourage individuals from purchasing books, reading them, and then returning them solely to avoid costs. We believe in upholding the value of literature and supporting authors and publishers.
