My Experience

My journey into digital media and IT began with a strong foundation in HTML and CSS and has since expanded to include expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and many more software tools.

My technical skills also include frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, MUI, Tailwind and jQuery. With experience in GitHub, and WordPress I thrive on crafting seamless user interfaces, integrating tools like component libraries to style guides to ensure consistency and functionality across projects and team members.

During my recent role as a Contracted Web Designer/Developer for Pacesetter Ski and Snowboard in the NAIT capstone program, I had the opportunity to put my skills into action, collaborating with a team to deliver a creative and functional website that met client objectives and timelines. Prior to that, my experiences as a receptionist and sterilization clerk at Southgate Dental Centre sharpened my customer service, organizational, and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.

Outside of the Web

Beyond technical proficiency, I bring a range of soft skills to the table, including effective communication, team collaboration, conflict resolution, and adaptability. These skills were honed not only through my academic pursuits but also through extracurricular activities like synchronized skating, where I learned the value of teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family and dog, reading and taking care of my ever growing collection of over 40 housplants!
